Ruth and Roxy are in a foster home together and the foster person reports that they lie near each other on blankets in the living room, and drink together out of the same water bowl. Then they go to the other water bowl and drink together out if it. We took Roxy to a vet hospital and had her leg x-rayed. The x-ray showed that the hock is broken. We hope to get an appointment with a board certified veterinary orthopedic surgeon at the specialty hospital. This surgeon is very good and has repaired other fractured hocks. We're sure she'll be able to help Roxy. For the time being Roxy is on pain medication.
